Harvest fruit! Sign up online
City Fruit harvests fruit from residential properties in the Rainier Valley/Beacon Hill, west Seattle, and Phinney-Greenwood neighborhoods. We depend on volunteers to help us pick, deliver and sort fruit and staff our information tables at community events. We are glad to share some of the harvest with our volunteers. If you live in one of our neighborhoods and would like to volunteer with City Fruit, sign up online.
City Fruit’s Volunteer Kick-off is set for Tuesday, July 30. Everyone who registers to volunteer is invited. We’ll let you know the time and venue.
Other groups also harvest in and around Seattle.
Other Seattle Neighborhoods
Solid Ground (Wallingford, Ballard, NE Seattle, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill)
Colman Neighborhood (central Seattle)
Issaquah Harvest (Issaquah)
In addition to supporting City Fruit financially or by volunteering, you can participate by learning to take care of fruit trees and pledging to adopt tree in your yard or neighborhood to keep it healthy, use the fruit, and share the fruit with others.
