Grow fruit trees in containers!

Growing fruit trees in containers allows you to save space, move the tree if necessary, reduce disease and, in many cases, produce more fruit.  This class covers the appropriate trees for containers, soil types, rootstocks, pruning techniques, and special considerations for care.

Fig in potInstructor Jacqueline Cramer is a landscape professional specializing in food production, particularly in urban settings.  She incorporates permaculture principles into the gardens and orchards she designs.  Jacqueline is co-founder of the Beacon Food Forest and has worked for twenty years as a farmer, educator, planner, community organizer and educator.

This class is part of the Second Sunday Series of fruit tree classes, a collaboration between City People’s Garden Store and City Fruit.

Call City People’s at 206-324-0737 to register.
